You will receive an email within the next 24 hours confirming your purchase(s)and get your unlock codes for the hosting unit and any plug-ins purchased. The Hosting software needs to be unlocked before it can be used to register any plug-ins purchased. Please read the following….

How to Register your Hosting unit software and unlock it

1 After downloading the hosting unit software from the link above (the host unit must be registered and unlocked first before plugins can be activated), install and run the application for the first time.

2 A dialog will come up with initial registration information. It will show a machine generated REGISTRATION KEY which is unique to your computer (it will be 16 hexadecimal characters long), an empty input text box labeled “Unlock Code’ is there to put your unlock code we will be sending you. Roll your mouse over the REGISTRATION KEY and do a CNTL C or Copy. You will need this number to paste into the registration form you are about to access, continue…..

3 There are three buttons on the opening dialog box. An ‘Ok’ button (to close the dialog box), a ‘Validate’ button to unlock the software once you receive the unlock code from us and a ‘Get Unlock’ button, used to forward and open a URL to our Hosting Unit registration form.

4 Click on the ‘Get Unlock’ button. This will take you to a form on our RHMG Product Registration page. Fill in your name, email, etc., and the paste in (CNTL V) the REGISTRATION KEY you found on the opening dialog of the hosting software you just ran. Make sure you have selected either the Standard or Ethernet mode of operation when registering. The return unlock key will activate one or the other mode of hosting unit operation. Send the form to us using the ‘Register MultiScopeCompact Now’ button seen on the bottom of the form.

5 Within 12 hrs or less, you will get the unlock code for the Hosting Unit via the email address you just supplied. Be sure the email you use is a valid one when you register. Run the host application software again. The same Registration dialog will pop up. Cut and paste the unlock code from the email we sent into the ‘Unlock’ text box and click ‘Validate’. Click ‘Ok’ to exit. That’s it.

A message box will appear indicating a successful validation. The video application is now enabled and ready to run. Plug-ins can now be installed.

Installation Continued – Registering Your AV Plug-ins

6 If you have purchased an A\V plugin bundle, it must be registered before the plug-ins can function within the hosting unit. The hosting unit will be used to register and enable the bundle you wish to enable. If you have received all of the unlock codes for the plug-ins purchased, continue…..

7 Open the hosting software application. Click on the button labeled ‘Plug-in Manager’ located on the first tab (Devices Control) of the control interface. The same dialog that was used to register the Hosting unit will appear again.

8 Enter in the first plug-in unlock code in the ‘Unlock’ edit space and click ‘Validate’. A message box will appear indicating that a successful validation has occurred. Enter the next plug-in unlock code and validate each one. When finished just click ‘Ok’. Done.

Plug-ins validated will have its corresponding user interface enabled on the Hosting Unit. You can now pick and run two from any of the plug-ins that you registered within the hosting unit interface.

The license provided is a one platform license. It is tied to the installed computer hardware you plan to use. Should the software be installed on another computer for any reason, it will not work. You will have to request a new license key, assuming the previous computer used has uninstalled the hosting software.
